Henri Cartier-Bresson is famous for taking decisive photographs. He did this by finding the perfect location and waiting for life to come, and that is when he would take the photograph. He knew if he waited long enough, the perfect opportunity would be visible. His work is significant because he is the Founding-Father of Photojournalism, he was one of the very few people to own a Leica Camera, and he was able to do so because he was from a rich family. His work has been regarded as some of the best examples of decisive photography.
